Welcome to the Joint Colleges Nursery. You have chosen well and I hope you enjoy your website visit, which will give you a glimpse of our provision.
This website has been re-designed in collaboration with members of the JCN Parent Management Committee. It celebrates the learning and achievements of the children in the setting, the well experienced and educated practitioners, and the fun packed, exciting and flexible learning environment that they facilitate.
We believe that children learn best through play and exploration. Therefore, it is important to us, that children feel happy and secure, giving them a sense of belonging, promoting self - confidence to be actively involved in their learning journey through their early years at JCN.
JCN is situated in a prime location and we are very fortunate to have a huge garden area for the children to play and explore in. The garden is used daily, for running, climbing, cycling, playing in the sand pit, and not to forget – for our Forest School sessions.
A strong parent partnership is important to us, as it is vital for the holistic approach in supporting each child’s individual development. But equally important are the pedagogues working in this setting. Our team is enthusiastic, caring and extremely creative, and most importantly – they have a genuine love for children. Their passion, knowledge and pedagogy enable them to provide meaningful, day to day play and learning activities.
