At JCN we ensure that the childrens' day-to-day activities are both valuable for their development and fun. We firmly believe that it is through play that a child becomes an enquirer, an experimenter and an explorer and that it is play that sets the stage for successful learning. JCN therefore allows children to develop and meet their learning goals through fun but ordered play.
Our daily routine is predictable, allowing children to anticipate what activities will happen at different times of the day. We feel that this is important both to give a feeling of comfort and security and to teach children about the passage of time.
