Welcome to Joint Colleges Nursery

Picture
Joint Colleges Nursery Cambridge (JCN) is one of the leading nurseries in the Cambridge area providing childcare for children aged 3 months to 5 years old.  We welcome children from all backgrounds and applicants need not be affiliated to the University of Cambridge.

We were established in 1980. Over the past years we have won a good reputation for providing a high quality learning experience for young children and have given many children a fun, happy start to their education.

Organised as a not for profit company, the nursery is run entirely for the benefit for the children.  JCN is conveniently located, close to the centre of Cambridge on a safe, quiet residential road.  We are near to the train station, well served by buses and has off street parking for parents and staff.

JCN is open all year round and only closes on Bank Holidays and the days between Christmas and New Year. Our daily opening time is 8.30am until 5.30pm.

JCN is registered with Ofsted for a maximum of 57 children, which is divided into 3 rooms as follows:

 Under Two's Room :               3 months  – 2 years old
 Explorer Room :                      2 years – 3 years old
 Discoverers  :                           3 years - 5 years old

Being Ofsted registered JCN must adhere to all the legal requirements are set out by them. Ofsted monitors the quality of all registered childcare settings and inspects us at regular intervals.
